Swallow Hill Music Hall

Swallow Hill's roots began in the 1960s with Harry Tuft's Denver Folklore
Center, located in the Swallow Hill area of Denver (named for 19th century
builder, George Swallow).
The Swallow Hill Music Association was established as a non-profit organization
in 1979, relocating several times in its first decade -- from Broadway
to the Capitol Hill Community Center, to South Pearl Street, to its current
location at 71 East Yale in 1998.
Over the years, Swallow Hill has grown to become the second largest folk
and acoustic music organization in the United States. Swallow Hill serves
as a regional resource for the presentation, teaching, preservation, and
encouragement of folk music and dance.
