I am a small independent luthier building mandolins,
guitars, bouzoukis and autoharps. All my life I have been both an
artist (printmaking and painting) and a musician (French horn in
the Brico Symphony, banjo, mandolin and autoharp). But it wasn't
until after I retired from my "day job" in 1993 that I
discovered combining art and music by building fine instruments.
Being retired gives me the freedom to strive for the highest standards
without time constraints. You won't find a Martin or Gibson copy
among my creations, only unique originals. If you seek a hand-crafted
instrument which will let you truly express yourself, I invite you
to audition one.
