Ronnie Owens

Ronnie Owens first started building in 2001 but has been around
guitars and guitarmaking his entire life. He was inspired by his
father, who built his first instrument in 1966 and who, at the age
of
eighty-three, is still building guitars and manolins. Ronnie, who
holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State
University, practices a traditional approach to steel string acoustic
guitarmaking with an engineer's attention to detail to produce
instruments of high quality and exemplary sound. Several of his
instruments belong to local Northern Colorado artists.
