Mark began his fascination with woodworking at the age of 5, when a neighbor
would give him boxes of scrapwood, which he would nail together and call "airplanes".
He also won awards for his work in high school woodshop. After a brief interruption
for college and marriage, he took up woodworking again as a serious hobby 15 years ago.
He now enjoys building Arts and Crafts furniture and acoustic guitars. He soon plans to
build a replica of a vintage Fokker bi-plane, just for old times' sake.
